Now we’ve got the sides off, it’s time to remove many, many annoying little nails.
These are some of the worst nails I’ve ever had to pull out of wood -there seems to have been some kind of reaction between the old -school galv on the nails and the wood, resulting in extraordinary stickiness.
…so then it was out with my old friend and favourite tool, the angle grinder, buzzing those little bastards back and carving off a whole lot of old hardboard that was glued on to the framing. Got most of that finished today, too.
